Life’s challenges are easier when families have the right support. Join us to discover the key protective factors that empower your grandfamily, using five protective factors. These attributes serve as buffers, helping parents/caregivers find resources, support, or coping strategies that allow them to parent effectively, even under stress. Learn to bounce back with Parental Resilience, build a strong support network with Social Connections, and find help with Concrete Support when needed. Understand Parenting and Child Development and empower your children’s Social and Emotional Competence. This bilingual workshop is your chance to connect with others who share your passion for seeing your grandfamily thrive. Gain insights and tools and share your experiences with other grandfamilies. Reservations are required. Space is limited.
