Building Parental Resilience: A Special Topic GrandKin Café

Join us for a meaningful GrandKin Café focused on Parental Resilience, one of the five protective factors that strengthen families and support healthy child development. Parenting, especially as a grandparent or kinship caregiver, can bring unique challenges and stressors. This session will provide practical strategies to manage stress, adapt to difficult situations, and recover from life’s challenges with strength and hope.

Through guided discussion and shared experiences, caregivers will gain tools to:

  • Stay strong and flexible in the face of adversity
  • Build positive coping skills and stress-management strategies
  • Strengthen problem-solving and goal-setting abilities
  • Foster a sense of optimism and perseverance in daily life

Together, we’ll explore how resilience not only supports caregivers’ well-being but also helps children feel secure and thrive. Reservations are required; space is limited. Child watch can be available with a reservation.
