Book Group for Family Caregivers (Virtual)

Our next book to read and discuss is The Correspondent by Virginia Evans.

Throughout her life, Sybil Van Antwerp has written letters to make sense of the world and her place in it. Like clockwork, on schedule, she sits down to write – to relatives, friends, famous authors – to tell them what she thinks – unsolicited – without a filter.  A mother, grandmother, wife, divorcee, lawyer, she has lived a very full life. But when letters eventually force her to examine the most painful periods of her life, she realizes what she has been afraid to write – and that she must forgive – as well as be granted forgiveness. We learn along with her that it is never too late in life to grow and reconcile.
